Replace the old Kernel by the new compiled one

Hello,

It is my first exprience in the compilation of the kernel - Custom kernel.

The Compilation is completed, but the system is always working on the old one.

i have tried the Commands after (make) -> make install -> make modules_install.

Hi Mohamad,

I guess you just need to reburn your memory or replace the old kernel,

Please check this document Install Ubuntu 14.04 on i.MX7D-SDB

Senction  4 explain howto build new kernel and deploy it to be burn on your SDcard on section 5.
