Whether KW40Z can do (Central) role?

KW40Z BLE's GAP layer defines the Central and Peripheral two roles.

I have seen examples of KW40Z_Connectivity_Software_1.0.1

( Heart Rate Sensor, Blood Pressure Sensor ...).

KW40Z only as [Peripheral] role, which is not [Central] scanning function.

To ask, to make use KW40Z [Central] function as scanning, if there is this feature and example?

What is recommended?

There are some demos in the stack that acts as a Central device in the KW40Z_Connectivity_Software_1.0.1. Some examples are:

1. hid_host

2. temperature_collector

Moreover, there is a wireless_uart_demo which could be peripheral or central. Please, see the document BLEDAUG.pdf included in the KW40Z_Connectivity_Software_1.0.1(it should be in the path: KW40Z_Connectivity_Software_1.0.1\ConnSw\doc) to have more information about how the applications work and how to play with them.
