Dear All,

Hello. I have questions about EDID of HDMI TX, we met some problems.

Background:

i.MX6D (MCIMX6D6AVT10AD) chip is used.

Please refer to below hardware connection. Config of pins is as followed:

- MX6Q_PAD_EIM_EB2__HDMI_TX_DDC_SCL

- MX6Q_PAD_EIM_D16__HDMI_TX_DDC_SDA

When we read EDID of HDMI sink device though HDMI_TX_DDC method, no signal is found on SCL & SDA.

Questions:

1) On MCIMX6D6AVT10AD chip (on which HDCP encryption is disabled), can we use HDMI_TX_DDC method, rather than common I2C method, to read EDID of HDMI sink device?

2) If HDMI_TX_DDC method can be used, could you please help us to check how to solve the problem of no signal on SCL & SDA?

Best Regards,

Keita

Hi,

Which BSP are you using? accoridng to FabioEstevam in this previous link HDMI DDC on linux-fslc/mainline with i.MX6

In Kernle 3.16, DDC works fine on some boards Iike mx6qsabresd, cuboxi, wandboard. I wonder if you have checked it out.

Best Regards,

Alejandro
