Hi all

How to decide a tRPA parameter in script aid ?

I'm setting a i.MX6SL's DDR3 parameters and using following script aid.

i.MX6SL DDR3 Register Programming Aid

I can't find any description and data about tRPA in DDR3's datasheet and find only following description in i.MX6SL's reference manual.

But I can't understand which setting is suit for DDR3.

I also checked a DDR3 SDRAM Specification JESD79-3E (July 2010) but can't find any description about it.

I attached a DDR3's datasheet.

So could you point where it is in attached datasheet ?

Hello,

if the tRPA (PREA) is not provided in DRAM datasheet, one can

set it as tRP or  tRP+1 for assurance.

Have a great day,
Yuri

Hello Yuri

I understand as follow.

User can set it whichever user like if it not describe in datasheet.

User need test both of parameters, right ?

Yes, users can try both cases : tRPA = tRP and tRPA = tRP+1
