X clients on Weston/Wayland using XWayland on iMX6q target board

Hello,

I am working on a iMX6q board with vivante gpu, we want to use just developed application for X on wayland, due a migration of the graphical platform.

I built weston with xwayland support and xwayland, but when I try to launch an x aplication like xeyes, weston exit with:

.......

forked X server

.......

Disabling fbdev output

We have tried using Yocto but if I well understood the vivante gpu driver cannot handle xwayland working at this moment, or there is something wrong on how I configure the system.

What is the best way to obtain it? Any suggestions?

Xwayland is not officially supported but, you can try these link in order to get a hint on how to make it work on yocto:
