Hi all,

I'm developping my software for FRDM-K64F.

I can debug using OpenOCD by KDS3.0 on Windows7(32bit).

But I can't launch OpenOCD by KDS3.0 on Windows8.1(64bit)

When I launched OpenOCD, I got pop up message below.

These images are debug config windows.

I don't know how should I do.

If you have any advices, please let me know.

Regards,

Kiyoshi

Hi Kiyoshi,

While your Multilink arrives you could use the P&E OpenSDA interface, please take a look to the step 2 of the following document, it explains how to update the firmware of your board from OpenOCD to the P&E OpenSDA firmware and how to set KDS to debug using it:

https://community.freescale.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/105199-4-294696/Summary%20of%20FRDM-K64...

Hope it helps!

Hi All

Same error here after fresh install on Windows 8.1 (64bit). I have also try on Windows 10 (64bit) and get same error but don't have any near Win 32bit to test it... Workaround from Carlos works for me but I don't want to use OpenSDAv2/P&E Micro, I would like to use OpenSDAv2.1/mbed CMSIS-DAP.

Did someone found solution on that problem?

thenks

Ervin

Hi Kiyoshi,

Have you tried using one of the alternative debug connections P&E Multilink or SEGGER J-Link? Here is a document that explains how to update to this firmware:

Summary of FRDM-K64F open source debug interface

Hope it helps!

Hi Carlos,

Thank you for your advice.

I've ask for an agency of P&E micro.

I'm goint to order multilink.

However, I'd like to develop by my Windows8.1(64bit) laptop, but I don't know where to check.

If you have any idea, please let me know.

Regards,

Kiyoshi

Hi, Carlos

I'm sorry my reply is late.

I got PEMicro's Multilink and I could debug on Windows8.1(64bit) using it.

I'll try your suggestion later.

Thank you so much!

Kiyoshi.
