i am trying to run ov5642 module on sabre-tablet in ubuntu os.
is there any body that did it???
i made patch on board_mx53_smd.c file and load ov5642_cam and mxc_v4l2_capture modules .
but when run Cheese for capture it doesn't work .
ok .but RFS that he used is ubuntu 12.04 . and i am seeking for procedure of run camera on imx53 in ubuntu.
for exp: which one of .ko files should be loaded for run ov5642???? which one of module should be built in on kernel??? and other questions .

Please read carefully Linux documentation IMX53_1105_LINUXDOCS_BUNDLE
before posting next questions. All drivers : ov5642_camera.ko,ov5640_camera.ko,
ov3640_camera.ko, mxc_v4l2_capture.ko are located in ltib/drivers/media/video/mxc/capture
folder, if you take labour to buld image L2.6.35_11.05_ER_SOURCE - you will find them there.

did you try by this RFS UBUNTU_RFS_DEMOIMG and this kernel source L2.6.35_MX53_ER_1105_IMAGE . because in this RFS there is no required .ko files(for example OV5642_CAM.so) and without them it is impossible that camera work correctly .
