Hi, I am using SABRESD fsl kernel 3.10.17 ubuntu 14.04, I have installed xfce desktop, but my 1080p HDMI screen is very laggy. I noticed that Xorg driver is not built. wondering how to compile this?

This must be a way to build it.

I guess Xorg is not used by 14.04, however please check is the packaged is installed in your system

ps ax | grep `pgrep Xorg` | head -1

And this executable is provided by the xserver-xorg binary package

$ pkg -S /usr/bin/X

xserver-xorg: /usr/bin/X

Please check;

Instead of xorg, as option you should try wayland

Hello Bio_TICFSL,

DOC-100626 has nothing to do with running Trusty on the SABRE-SD. It's related to using Trusty (14.04) as a build machine with LTIB.

We've also been investigating getting the Vivante drivers working on Trusty, and there are some differences from Saucy and earlier releases. We think it has to do with Xorg version 1.15, but don't have many details yet.

Yes EricNelson, the Xorg 1.15 is not supported in 3.10.17 GA drivers. This is supported only with 3.10.31 Alpha release one.

You need to keep Xorg 1.14 to Ubuntu 14.04 to use 4.9.6p13 Vivante drivers.
