Hi everyone.

    I am a fresher ,i am working on free scale imx 53 sabre tablet for android ,i finished initial work of project ,but i am not getting how to do partitions of sd card .actually we need 5 partitions .

              Please any one help me .....how to do partitions of sd card?

You can use gparted.

If you're using Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install gparted

Take a look here How to install Android on SDCard

It shows a picture how a partitioned sdcard should look like

Thank you for given reply......

   I followed your sent link instructions .while i was doing partitions i am getting error.please provide any separate script file for partition of SD card. I am in Ubuntu 10.4 below one i am getting that error for both 8GB and 4GB micro SD cards.

Have you unmounted your partition?

Have you tried another sdcard?

Have you tried to create one big partition at first?

how do you call gparted?

Please try:

$ sudo garted
