Hi,

LS1043A is a system used without FAN, and is looking for a way to reduce power consumption.

I first answered the question by answering the link below.

Is it possible to reduce power consumption by disabling the CPU Core?  

Two additional questions.

First,

Does SWLPM20 mode disable all cores?

Or can I disable individual cores?

I want to run only one core. If you can do that, you would expect a saving of 0.2 x 3 = 0.6 watt.

The second,

Is there a way to do core-specific power gating?

Yes, in SWLPM20 clocks for all cores and platform clocks are disabled.

Only PW15.
