Hi

In my current design I'm using the MK20DX256VLH7 MCU. I would like to add a JTAG connector but are not sure if I need to add external Pull-up/down resistors. The reference manual states that they are Internal.

Does this mean that there are no external Pull-up/down resistors are necessary?

Best regards,

Hello, Luc Meijer

We recommend adding an external strong pull-up resistor (typically of 10k ohm ) on the  JTAG_TMS pin.

Here you can see a reference in the KQRUG (attached bellow ). on page 33.

Also, I believe that this post can be useful    Design Considerations for Debug

Alternatively, you could check the JTAG interface in the schematic of our Freedom boards.

If I can help you further, please let me know.

 Best regards, Diego.
