executing 'capturing' in SV3D-project on imx8qxp-mek,the UART output is "/dev/video0 format not supported"

but input cmd like"gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src device=/dev/video0 ! 'video/x-raw,width=1920,height=1080,framerate=15/1' ! queue ! waylandsink" the LCD can output the normal graphic from sensor.

kernel image:L4.14.98.2.0.0

SV3D project : surround-view-3D_1.1_beta

The image and binaries compiled with aarch64-poky-linux toolchain

i trace the code of SV3D project,this err located at v4l2Camera.captureSetup()->ioctl(fd,VIDIOC_S_FMT,&fmt);

but cannot trace the callback in the level of kernel.

looking forward to your answer

Hi peterson

for supported formats one can refer to attached Release Notes,

pay attention to Table 15. i.MX GStreamer 1.0 plugins.

test with Demo Images from

i.MX Software and Development Tools | NXP

thanks for your answer!!!

Maybe my description is little bit misty...

i use the command"gst-launch-1.0..."means the /dev/video0 is available.

The real err is when i executing binary file "Tools/CamCapture/capturing" under the surround-view-3D_1.1_beta project which compiled by aarch64-poky-linux toolchain.The UART output is "/dev/video0 format not supported".

Hope the question is clear, any problems notice me.

Thank you very much!

I already pass the format problem, after that the Surround-view project comes a new err:

ES30: some draw get error and skipped during validation

From a similar posting, like:No graphical output after updating GPU vivante driver ,I learn that the err mean i should update my GPU driver,is that right?

looking forward your answer!

what bsp are you using, try nxp bsps from source.codeaurora.org/external/imx/linux-imx

repository : linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
All gpu drivers are already included to them.
