If you want to find out more about the registers, please read the Chapter 35 from the Reference Manual.
Also, you can use the S32 SDK for PA, which provides support for controlling peripherals on MPC5748G.

Are we talking about the Model-Based Design Toolbox for MPC57xx? Do you generate your code from Simulink or you are using the S32DS for PA?
