Compile u-boot_v2017 for use with MFG-Tool in standalone environment

I'm trying to compile u-boot from branch imx_v2017.03_4.9.51_imx8_beta2 for my custom i.MX 6 Dual target board.

So far I've found the attached document from the following link:

https://community.nxp.com/thread/323039

But the provided instructions seem to be outdated, as I get the following error from the MFG-Tool:

"Boot" body="BootStrap" error, file="D:\mfg\Profiles\REVB\OS Firmware\mfgimages\u-boot.bin"

I've also attached the error log from the MFG-Tool.

I'm not looking for instructions using the Yocto-Toolchain but using a standalone environment.

What are the necessary steps to compile imx u-boot v2017 for the MFG-Tool?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have BSP support with the Linux version 4.9.51 for the i.MX6D. This BSP was released only for the i.MX8MQ, I apologize for the inconveniences.

Best Regards,

Diego.
