This webinar presents the complete hardware and software solution to build camera nodes for the panorama view park-assist application, providing drivers with a high-quality view of the surrounding area of the car. There are up to five CMOS cameras with wide-angle lenses attached to the car which have to be connected to the central unit. Interconnect is a significant cost factor in such a system where the required bandwidth makes a big difference. The M-JPEG encoder module on the Qorivva MPC5604E MCU and the optimized production-grade software with proven 100 Mbps Ethernet-based physical layer under automotive constraints without shielding enables a very low-cost solution.
