Remove End Device from gateway when end device is offline

To remove the end device from the gateway user need to go to the End Device Attribute Control screen. If the device is online then the user will be shown control screen depending on the device type. On that screen, there is a menu inside which there is an option to remove the end device.

But above method does not work when the device is offline for some reason for an example node which is no longer accessible. This is due to the fact that if the device is offline, the End Device Attribute Control screen will not be accessible for that device.


In this scenario, the user can remove the device from the Gateway End Node Listing screen using the following method.

  1. Go to Gateway End Node Listing screen of the gateway in which device is commissioned. The devices associated with that gateway will be listed.
  2. Do a left swipe on the End device that you want to remove.
  3. The app will show remove option as shown in below screenshot.

  4. Touch again on remove device option highlighted in red to remove the device. The user will be asked for confirmation before the remove command is sent.
