Demo

Using the LS1021A-IoT-Gateway to support local connectivity to monitor inputs from a wide range of sensors or other devices, and the ability to take action based on reaching certain limits. For example monitoring the temperature in a greenhouse and when it reach a given limit open vents, or monitoring soil conditions and turning on sprinklers. For industrial applications this could be monitoring a process flow and turning on/off valves or motors etc. The Machineshop cloud can provide connectivity to 1000’s of gateways in remote locations and monitor and control from a central dashboard. The below example shows just two gateways one located in Denver at Machine shop and the other in Austin

As a simple monitoring and control example this demo is using the Thinkeco smart-plug to monitor the status of the fan and allows remote control of the status either On or Off. However as mentioned above this could be reading temperature or soil moisture and nutrient content and then taking action to efficiently manage the environment
