This demo compares the power consumption of the three “Low power” logic families: LVC, AUP and AXP

Three capacitor-powered circuits drive buffers from each of the LVC, AUP and AXP logic families. When the switch is pressed the capacitors are charged simultaneously. When the switch is released the buffers must operate only from the stored energy. Three LED voltmeters indicate the voltage remaining on the three power rails

The demo visually shows that the LVC-AUP-AXP power consumption difference is a 30 to 10 to 1 ratio
