This demo shows the application of the NCR402U Constant Current Source device. An input voltage between 5V or between 10 and 40VDC is regulated at a constant current of 20mA to safely drive an onboard or external LED

In this specific eBike application two of these units are utilized to convert the 12VDC control signal from the central lighting controller to drive the rear turn signal LEDS mounted in the saddlebags. This can be demonstrated by moving the position of the turn signal switch on the right handgrip.

This demo has many applications in electric vehicles to safely drive LEDs for low power applications such as indicators, turn signals, backlighting, etc.

  • Small, cost-effective NCR402U Constant Current Source
  • USB connector for power supply with optional connection for external 10-40VDC source
  • Onboard 20mA white LED, connection options for external LED
