This demo showcases NXP’s LPC4088 (running on OEM board with capacitive touchscreen) from Embedded Artists running TouchGFX graphics, simulating a home energy monitoring application.

 

High-end graphical performance can be achieved using TouchGFX graphical framework in combination with LPC4088 microcontroller based on a Cortex M4. Features known from smartphones like responsive touch gestures, animations, full screen transitions, transparency are all showcased in with a display update frequency of 30 to 60 frames per second.

 

TouchGFX is highly optimized for high-end graphics running on microcontroller hardware, utilizing the internal TFT-driver and SPIFI interface of the LPC4088 makes the combination of LPC4088 and TouchGFX a perfect match for cost effective and low power display solutions. Demo utilizes an OEM ready display module from Embedded Artists.
