The smart packages  demonstrate various use cases for Consumer Interaction through  different NXPICs.  Depending on the package by tapping the NFC phone to the smart package either an app opens with further product details or  proves the product’s authenticity.

 

Features enabled by NXP

NTAG product family ISO 14443, 13,56 MHz NFCForum TT2 compliant tags, The NTAG product portfolio offers distinctive mechanical and electrical features to meet the multi-faceted requirements of today’s inlay, label and tag manufacturers.

ICODE product family  supports the ISO 15693 / ISO 18000-3  compliant infrastructure.  It offers benchmark RF performance, highest quality and an optimized feature set for a large variety of applications.

The Aki Choklat bags is equipped with an NTAG that works with an app and a cloud-based service. Without the finncode app the tag opens the product webpage. With the app the consumers can verify authenticity, displaying when and where the bag was made. The app also works with GPS data, creating a digital diary that logs the bag’s whereabouts, complete with updates to social media. GPS can also be used to track the bag  if it‘s ever lost or stolen
