arcturus_ucp1020_case.jpgThe Arcturus uCP1020 is a ruggedized, high-performance board and module for industrial IoT gateways and edge-node communication services. The uCP1020 offers the power to aggregate device communication from a remote site, using VPN-level secure connectivity. It features a dual-core, QorIQ P1020 processor running at 800MHz with integrated gigabit Ethernet interfaces. Two PCIe lanes provide high-performance peripheral support for Wi-Fi, 3G/4G wireless connectivity or mass storage. Arcturus provides open source board support packages and solutions stacks including the Asterisk® communications platform with the industry leading FreePBX® configuration interface. IoT/M2M communications include Mbarx-M2M support with various options for protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, CoAP, and LWM2M. The hardware platform uses industrial rated parts and requires passive cooling, no spinning disc and no fan.
