Dears, I used nonlinear ADS model of AFT05MS031N rf-power transistor, first I draw recommended circuit of datasheet for 380-450 MHz with exactly same microstrip lines, Component values and mentioned PCB substrate data but the simulated output power is much lower than 28watt that has claimed at datasheet and is completely nonlinear! (I tested at same and other biases) Therefore, I designed myself and simulation showed about 16watt P-1dB then I built it on a PCB board but CW test showed much lower P1dB(about 2 watt)! My question is, are you sure about this ADS model of transistor? have you used it for design? and also about datasheet recommended circuit values? Thanks.
