MINIMAL ROM/RAM USAGE FOR KINETIS C EXECUTION:

Entry level Kinetis MCUs such as the KL series have highly constrained ROM and RAM resources available to your application, making software development in high level languages such as C a challenge. For this reason, entry level devices may need to be programmed directly in assembly language, to reduce the amount of ROM and RAM used to manageable levels. This complicates the development process, requiring more engineering time, and highly specialized skills.

 

SOMNIUM DRT reduces the ROM and RAM requirements needed for a C language environment, making it practical to program even entry level Kinetis MCUs using C. This simplifies development, saving development time, reducing risk, and making use of entry level Kinetis MCUs more practical.
