Demonstration of NXP's PowerQUICC Processors Qorivva MPC577xK MCU and the MRD3000 multi-channel 77 GHz radar transceiver chipset that powers this radar-based safety systems to help drivers manage blind spots and to detect for side impacts. This long- and mid-range frontal radar is also used for adaptive cruise control.

 

 

Features

  • Demo new generation of radar sensor chips. Analog sensor and Micro-controller for signal processing
  • Car radar detects an object (in this case a person) approaching the car. It displays the video and pinpoints distance, speed, angle of arrival and the radar cross-section (RCS)  (person) onto the screen
